HAYES VALLEY—Still working on a Halloween look? Dark Garden (321 Linden Street) will help you put the vamp in your vampire this weekend with a Halloween Prep Party. Expect the usual killer stock of corsets and accessories, along with refreshments and staff to advise you on your costume. The store will also be featuring the works of its new topper and fascinator crafter extraordinaire: La Petite Menagerie. The event starts on Saturday, October 25th at 4pm and runs until 8pm. MISSION— Stop by Belljar, San Francisco's most beautiful store, on Saturday, October 25th to meet Mariele from Young in the Mountains. Mariele will be at the store (3187 16th Street) from 12 – 7pm selling her handmade pottery and jewelry. [Racked Inbox]

FINANCIAL DISTRICT— The Arts of Fashion Foundation will host its annual fashion show competition on Tuesday, October 28th at the Bently Reserve (400 Sansome Street). Fifty design students will showcase their projects during the event. Tickets (available here) range from $75 to $125, and proceeds benefit educational programs and student scholarships. {Racked Inbox]
