GOLDEN GATE PARK— The California Academy of Sciences Creatures of the NightLife event on Thursday, October 30th is going to be ba-nanas. There will be the Annual Creature Feature drag show and costume contest hosted by Peaches Christ, science-y zombie activities, and monster makeovers from drag celebrities. MISSION— Joey the Cat is hosting a Choose Your Own Adventure: DIY Costume Party on Wednesday, October 29th at 3252 19th Street. If you still need a costume, this is your chance to make one while drinking and playing arcade games. (Even if you don't a costume, that's a tempting combo.) The party runs from 7pm to 12am, and there will be a costume contest at 10 pm. Tickets are $15 in advance on Eventbrite, or $20 at the door. [Facebook]
