Fall Fashion Fest; Ghurka Loves Pandas

UNION SQUARE— Ghurka is releasing its first women's collection in ages, and using the opportunity to raise money for the red pandas at the S.F. Zoo. Next Tuesday, October 7, there will be a party at the brand's Union Square store to reveal the line and the new girl-panda's name. You can get a free red-panda-emblazoned pouch with the purchase of any item from the women's collection, and a portion of the proceeds with go to the panda's care. [SFGate]

UNION SQUARE— Union Square SF's Fall Fashion Fest is next Thursday, October 9, from 5-10pm. There will deals, giveaways, live music, food and more happening in more than 40 stores. The event is free if you RSVP. This year, there will also be an afterparty at Hawthorn with a special raffle prize. Tickets are $20 on Eventbrite, and proceeds will benefit GLIDE. [Racked Inbox]
