After decades in Union Square, Sheri Evans and Trina Papini have reincarnated their beloved Metier boutique into a Hayes Valley jewelry shop. Hoodline reports that the Evans and Papini had actually been contemplating a stand-alone jewelry shop even before they left their Union Square roots. Hayes Valley was a perfect match because it is centrally-located and full of other cool, women-owned businesses.

If you haven't already stopped by, add Metier to your list of shopping destinations for the holidays: Sheri tells the site that the new store carries "estate jewelry, Arielle de Pinto, Gillian Conroy, Variance Objects, and Zero Maria Cornejo" as well as "scarves by Epice, Martha Davis and Ryan Roche, pottery by Adrienne George, and found art."
