MISSION— It's already been open for three months, but Azalea (956 Valencia) is finally throwing a party to celebrate its Mission outpost. Soothing Sista will be hosting the soiree on Thursday, November 13th from 6-9pm, and there will be treats from Mission Chinese and 21st Amendment. BERKELEY— Melissa Joy Manning is hosting a gathering at her Berkeley store (1827 5th Street) on Friday, November 14th from 5-7pm, and fans of the local eco-jewelry line will want to be there. Shoppers will have the opportunity to make their own jewelry with Melissa and browse a selection of ceramics by Rae Dunn while drinking wine and eating lovely things. It's the perfect opportunity to get a head start on holiday shopping or make something special for someone special. We're giving you permission to shop for yourself because you're special, too.
