Aerial arts inspired Akrovita, a new activewear brand out of San Francisco. The two designers behind the label met while studying at Parsons. As chance would have it, they both developed an interest in the aerial acrobatics while in NYC before they joined forces for their fitness fashion line. The inaugural collection includes sports bras, shorts, and leggings in unique designs and flattering cuts. "We want our garments to be so beautiful and comfortable that they are the first ones you pick out from your closet regardless of [your day's plans]," Akrovita explains on its site. It's definitely an approach that Bay Area gals can get behind.
