Just in time to combat that Thanksgiving bloat, Flywheel is opening its first Bay Area studio in Sunnyvale on Tuesday, November 25th. Flywheel founder Ruth Zukerman also co-founded SoulCycle (she parted ways for undisclosed reasons according to this NY Times article), but the two cycling studios differ in teaching styles and methods. Flywheel is known for its TorqBoard, which displays riders' real-time metrics on calories burned, resistance, and speed. Curious to give this cycling class a spin in advance of next week's grand opening? Join a free class happening tomorrow through Monday by creating a profile here then sending an email with your username and requested class (or classes) to sunnyvaleopening@flywheelsports.com.
