Two shoe brands will open this month on Westfield San Francisco Centre's Level 2. One is Asics, the athletic footwear and equipment company, and the other is Vans, the action sports brand based in California that's relocating from its prior location in the mall. The common ground between the two may be footwear and an active lifestyle, but each store serves two different city adventures. Head to Asics for running shoes then hit the runner's path at Crissy Field. Or, for a more casual approach to hitting your Fitbit goal, try slipping on a pair of Vans for a stroll along Ocean Beach. Of course, these two routes can be for one and the same shopper—especially because we all know that there's always room in the closet for more shoes.
