The Berkeley Sports Basement in the former Berkeley Iceland is almost open for business. According to the store's construction update page, staffers are aiming to open the store on November 11th, with a Grand Snowpening on Saturday, November 15th from 10am to 4 pm. It will be the sixth Sports Basement in the Bay Area. If shopping for sporting goods in a repurposed ice rink is your kind of thing, go check it out.
