German audio brand Sennheiser has a pop-up store in the Mission for the holidays where you can play with products and experience "audiovisual cocoon design." The company wants the shop at 2277 Mission Street (between 18th and 19th) to serve as an urban hub, "allowing visitors to hang out and enjoy the pleasures of excellent sound (#earlove) while browsing through a selection of curated magazines and playlists." If you can get past the festish-sounding hashtag, the features within the store are pretty cool. There's a DJ booth, a gaming area, and an interactive window that visualizes San Francisco's ambient noise. The shop is open from 12-8pm daily until December 28th, and carries consumer headphones in the $20-$300 price range.
