After falling down the sartorial rabbit hole of TRR's website one too many times, we started wondering how staffers at the company resist the temptation of working next to so many beautiful things. The answer? They don't. Take one look at their stylish office wear, and you'll realize that TRR staffers do a lot of workday shopping. Below, we've got the scoop on their style inspo and favorite fashion finds.

Your closet is on fire! What three items do you save from the flames?

I'm saving my Celine wedges, Balenciaga ankle booties and a pink vintage shift!

Which trend do you really like right now?

I love a thick choker or handkerchief around the neck.

What is your worst shopping habit?

I keep telling myself no more blue dress shirts but keep buying more. French blue 120s, navy oxfords, chambrays, percales, plaids, and prints. At last count I own 34. They’re now the foundation of my daily uniform and pair easily with any other color

What’s your favorite item that you’ve purchased on The RealReal?

I bought my first piece of art on The RealReal about 6 months ago. I saw a Picasso lithograph in the warehouse one day and had to have it. Since then I’ve been bitten by the art bug, and have recently added two more pieces to my budding collection.

If you could trade closets with anyone (living or dead), who would it be?

I’m fascinated and inspired by the sartorial wardrobe of Hamish Bowles. He effortlessly mixes European haberdashery with amazing color, pattern, and avant garde accessories. I’d never fit into the clothes but Id love to play in his closet.

When you’re not shopping online, what stores do you frequent?

I buy almost everything online but still prefer going grocery shopping as opposed to delivery. Whether at a chain store or a farmers market I like selecting my produce, finding new and interesting ingredients, and indulging in the ice cream aisle!

What is your worst shopping habit?

I deliberate for so long on each and every purchase, so often times when I finally decide to pull the trigger the item is gone. I should really start impulse shopping more, because you can always return!

Which trend do you really like right now?

I'm really loving oversized neutral knits right now. I used to wear so much black and navy, but now I've opened up a lot more to creams, browns and even pink.

What’s your favorite item that you’ve purchased on The Real Real?

This would definitely be my Cartier Trinity ring; never in a million years would I think that I would be buying a piece of fine jewelry for myself, but I tried it on during a photo shoot and refused to take it off!

What’s one item that you passed on that you wish you could go back and buy?

I found my pair of dream loafers at The Row on Melrose - they were pretty pricey and the beginning of the season, so I figured I had time to think on it... I went back to L.A. a month later ready to buy them (along with having planned my entire fall wardrobe around these shoes), only to find out they were completely sold out and never to be made again. Needless to say, I was devastated!

Your closet is on fire! What three items do you save from the flames?

My army of coats and jackets, most notably my Acne Rita jacket.

Which trend do you really like right now?

I am still very much into the athletic trend. I never thought I would ditch my motorcycle boots and skinny jeans for high-top sneakers and track pants, but I am loving the transition. Sports field meets board room is my go to office look.

What’s your favorite item that you’ve purchased on The Real Real?

I am a sucker for a super amazing pant so naturally one of my first TRR purchases

was a pair by Proenza Schouler from the Spring 2012 collection. These are not just any pant but yellow, turquoise and charcoal tropical print pants. They are high waisted, constructed beautifully and I feel like I am on vacation every time I wear them. A true game changer.

What’s one item that you passed on that you wish you could go back and buy?

Barneys San Francisco marked down exactly one Zero + Maria Cornejo floor length fuchsia gown in my size a few years ago. It was during the 75% off sale and fit like a dream. Not having an occasion to wear it to I took the economical route and passed. I don't wear jewel tones but I think about not buying this dress almost every day.

Comme des Garçons blazer from Spring 2001, vintage houndstooth coat with faux fur collar, Yohji Yamamoto "Coming Soon" harem pants.

What’s your favorite item that you’ve purchased on the Real Real?

Rochambeau high-waisted harem pants. I feel they help me channel Mortal Kombat and my inner ninja.

What have you learned at the Real Real that you never would have learned elsewhere?

Your closet is one hell of an investment.

Which trend do you really like right now?

I love following the runways for menswear. Currently I am digging the whole idea of a long blazer as part of a spring suit (taking cue from Raf Simons and Christophe Lemaire's Spring 2015 collections).

What is your worst shopping habit?

Simply buying anything that is black or navy blue. I like the idea of outfitting with a certain color palette but when it comes to me personally buying something with color, I chicken out!
