Vanessa Zahorian has danced with the San Francisco Ballet since 1997, which means the Russian-trained principal ballerina (who regularly performs as the Sugar Plum Fairy) knows her way around the city. Aside from naming Nopa and Le Colonial as her favorite local restaurants, she singles out Two Skirts on Chestnut Street as her boutique of choice in a recent profile on WhereTraveler. It's fitting, really, given that the store's elegant interior —and especially it's gold-gilded, tiled ceiling— probably reminds Vanessa of her home away from home. She doesn't provide details on which brands she likes to pick up at the store, but we can imagine her in dresses from M Missoni and chic flats from Rachel Zoe. To sneak a peek at her street style, try to catch her as she heads into the War Memorial Opera House for tomorrow's opening night of The Nutcracker.
