Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Zinc Details has expanded into a second location at 1633 Fillmore Street. The new, 5,000-square-foot space showcases the extensive modern furniture collections while the original store, two blocks north, curates gifts and home accessories. Store owner Vasilios "Vas" Kiniris tells the Chronicle that the larger space allows for more opportunities to work with designers on store exclusives and to host special events. Currently, you'll find an office desk accessories collab between local designer Eric Pfeiffer and Evernote at the new outpost. Sounds like an ideal way to start the new year with a freshly organized desk.
