Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
A couple of months ago, we started the lookout for a Kit And Ace pop-up store, and now the hunt is over. The technical cashmere brand—launched by the Lululemon founder's wife and son, Shannon and JJ Wilson—tells us that it will open a t-shirt shop at 3108 Fillmore Street starting tomorrow, December 5. There you can shop the fitted, cashmere-blended tees (from $68) designed by Shannon herself. Best of all, the proprietary fabric called "Qemir" is totally machine washable without risk of shrinking or stretching. So prepare your closet for a new tee obsession. This should tide you over until the full (and permanent) Kit And Ace studio store —the second in the U.S.— opens some time next year.
