Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Workshop, the beloved Western Addition DIY-school, is bringing back the Indie Mart movement to which it owes its existence for one night only. Tuesday, December 9th from 5 to 9pm, you can relive the Indie Mart glory days with food, drinks, and more than 40 vendors at the Independent (628 Divisadero). Workshop explains on its website, "We started this thing in a yard in the Mission, then it grew to 12 Galaxies, then many years at Thee Parkside and numerous events with our friends and around the corner at The Independent. We want to offer y'all amazing holiday shopping, a fun night and showcase some rad neighbors and makers." Not a bad way to take care of holiday shopping on a Tuesday night, right?
