Someone over at The Bold Italic though it would be a good idea to bring the drag queens of House of MORE! together with the taxidermy of Paxton Gate. It turned out to be one of the best ideas ever made. They staged the shoot in anticipation of the fourth annual Hard French Winter Ball at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk next Saturday, February 22 in the 104-year-old Coconut Grove Ballroom. The above happens to be our favorite of all the photos, but it's well worth a click through to see all of them. And if you're now inspired to buy tickets for the ball (and how could you not be), you may do so here. Early bird tickets are available for $15 until they sell out, after which it's still only $25. An absolute bargain for such glamour.
