Step into Electric Blanket, a new art gallery and vintage store to find a slice of inspiration—whether it's in the form of art for your walls or a gold sparkler to wear out on the town. It's the brainchild of artist Jillian West, who tells SF Girl By Bay that she chose the name from a poem written by her brother titled Will You Be My Electric Blanket. And to keep the literary thread alive, West asks patrons to add to Electric Blanket's written story by jotting notes on the chalkboard or on note cards (there's also a submission form online). Stay tuned because West also plans to host creative events and workshops as soon as the dust of the store's grand opening settles. Bonus: the store is the only place in SF to score yourself a bag (or five) of java from Handsome Coffee Roasters.
