We're sad to hear the news that yet another San Francisco bookstore is biting the dust. Badger Books at 401 Cortland Avenue is shutting down operations a year after taking over Red Hill Books in that same location about a year ago. But this time it doesn't seem to be a David and Goliath struggle. "We're just not making enough money," an employee told Bernalwood, and the business owners have posted "For Rent" signs in the windows.
