Textile queen Madeline Weinrib is opening her first West Coast showroom in the San Francisco Design Center. "I've always had fantastically talented designer clients in California," Weinrib tells The Style Salonsite. And come April, the space will offer these local designers and their clients the opportunity to interact with Weinrib's custom colors and complete collections—previously only available at her NYC showroom, housed in her family's ABC Carpet and Home. "If I didn't live in New York, I would live in San Francisco," Weinrib tells 7x7, revealing that she chose SF over Los Angeles based on "aesthetic compatibility and indie ethos." And now if only she'll bring her clearance sales to her new showroom so that we may have our (pricey) cake and eat it, too.
