Wooed has been our go-to for stylish SF-made sunglasses since we discovered their great sunnies last year. So we're super excited to learn that the brand has launched a line of wooden frames specifically for four-eyes folks. "It is very challenging to design a wooden frame that fits prescription lenses due to the thickness of the lenses and the lack of elasticity of wooden frames," Wooed co-founder Julia Olson tells us. With a new wood material and method for making them, plus a new partnership with a prescription lab, Olson and her team made it happen.
