Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Obsessed with Hayes Valley and all the shopping, dining and condo-building it has to offer? Or maybe the Haight (whether you skew upper or lower) is the hood where you like to follow the comings and goings of new stores and restaurants? Good news: the folks who run San Francisco neighborhood blogs Hayeswire, Haighteration and Uppercasing have launched an app called Hoodline. So you can stay updated on the Valley and/or the Upper and Lower Haight all the time, wherever you may be. It's currently available for the iPhone only, but if you have another style of technology, worry not. They're launching a Hoodline website in the next few days, where presumably all three neighborhoods will be covered. Stay tuned.
