Google is ramping up its same-day delivery service—a move that may do more for advertising sales than delivery ones. According to Reuters, the future (and pending) expansions into the LA and NYC markets would help Google retain data points relevant for its bread-and-butter: selling online ads. Without a larger, same-day delivery presence, Google would lose out to Amazon and eBay. [Reuters]
