Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Food trucks, the Golden Gate bridge, the seals on the docks, and the scenic Route 49—these are just a few of our favorite SF things. And Lisa Congdon, local fine artist and illustrator, has captured these (plus a few more) to make her wildly popular watercolor print for The Bold Italic store. But why stop there? Thank goodness, they didn't. There's now a Congdon-designed, 100% silk scarf ($100) that includes the print's 23 reasons to love SF. We think it would look great as a chic and subtle profession of SF pride around your neck, but it would also do just as nicely in a frame on your wall.
