Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Room Service, the LA-based modern furniture store, is on the move in SF. The Hayes Valley location has quietly packed up shop, leaving very little info beyond that it plans to reopen in the SF Design District. Our calls to the Room Service headquarters have yet to be returned, but we'll do our best to find out where you'll next be able to shop the Sinatra sofa ($2,295)—the very one you saw in Rachel Zoe's home. And if you're caught off guard by the move and awaiting the arrival of your order, Room Service's parting note suggests that you email or call the sales team for an update.
