Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

First there was Pink Dolphin that opened last October, with a line that looped around the block. And soon there will also be Diamond Supply Co., which is set to open one block west at the former Pure Beauty location. The 15-year-old brand has SF roots, where founder Nick Tershay first started making skateboard hardware. But he moved to LA shortly after to build out the brand and to add a clothing collection. This will be the first SF store in addition to the flagship in LA and another store in NYC. Hoodline reports that the store looks ready to open. It just may be a skate style renaissance in the city.
