If you're part of the 28% of America that's actually interested in owning Glass, you're in luck. On Tuesday, April 15, starting at 6am, Google Glass will be available for anyone who wants to spend a cool $1,500 plus tax (previously that privilege was invitation-only). Stock is limited, so you'll have to set a reminder on the Google Glass site then return to it at opening hour (on the dot). It's certainly an interesting time to release the product to the public—in the midst of a backlash even in its hometown of SF. But Google insists that "every day [it gets] requests from those of you who haven't found a way into the program yet." Well, here's your chance. Go get 'em, tiger.
