Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

For the past 14 years, Inside has served as SF's go-to modern furniture showroom for brands like Modernica, Cherner Chair, and Factory 1. But Hoodline reports that Inside's owners Emmett and Deanna Marrujo have decided "to focus on the private and corporate aspects of their business" and will close the brick and mortar by April 30. Until then, receive 15 to 75% off of showroom and floor models and store fixtures. A recent post on Inside's Facebook page says that the new tenant at 149 Gough is Jules Maeght Gallery, an art gallery founded in Cannes in 1936, and will open in September 2014.
