HAYES VALLEY—The Bay Area chapter of Girls on the Run, a non-profit organization that seeks to promote confidence in young girls, is hosting an event at Alternative Apparel's Hayes Valley store (424 Hayes Street), April 23 from 5:45 to 9pm. The evening will begin with a post-work yoga session in the store, followed by cocktails and bites from Melissa King. The evening will close with a silent auction featuring donations from local businesses including Green Apple Books, Naked Wines, and others. [Racked Inbox]
BENICIA—On April 23, from 11:30am to 1:30pm, Christina's and Be Chic Boutique are hosting "New York Fashion Week in Benicia," a luncheon and fashion show to to benefit the Benicia Community Action Council and Senior Meals Program.
