Husband and wife duo Christian and Daisy McClellan are setting out to reimagine the shopping experience with the opening of their store Gather. "We want to be defined more by who we carry than what we carry," Christian tells Hoodline. And that list of "who" will be comprised entirely of indie—and mostly of local—brands like Nooworks and Bridge & Burn. The new boutique at the corner of Octavia at Ivy will also carry Daisy's jewelry line, Lanyapi Designs, and will have a workshop space for future DIY events and classes. The McClellans hope to open by the first weekend of May, but check back soon for more details.
