Past Perfect's expansion into Cole Valley wasn't exactly planned, Hoodline reports. Store owner Melanie Shain inquired about the lease based on instinct and ties to the neighborhood (she grew up there, and her mother mom lives there). Fast forward a few months and the doors are open, a couple weeks ahead of the grand opening party, scheduled for Saturday, April 26. Similar to the Lombard location, the second store carries vintage home goods and art and designer clothes and jewelry. But with only nine dealers represented at the Stanyan location, Shain tells Hoodline that the new store is more intimate. To stay abreast of incoming stock, visit the Stanyan-specific Facebook page. Or stop in to find treasures (like these Manolos for $79) at every turn.
