The ladies behind local and artisanal footwear brand Freda Salvador spill the beans on all their favorite things in SF in an interview with 7x7. Cristina Palomo-Nelson and Megan Papay pride themselves on shoes that are not only incredibly chic but also wearable. It's little surprise, then, that nothing holds them back from stomping all around town from Zuni Cafe in Hayes Valley (for the chicken-for-two) to catching a flick at the Kabuki in Japantown. There's a baby on the way for Palomo-Nelson, which is all the more reason to continue designing the handcrafted shoes and boots for walking—and maybe even for running and chasing those quick and nimble youngsters.
