Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
We've all drooled over Remodelista, whether it was in the midst of a home re-do or a wishful daydream of one. The digital sourcebook's beautifully curated images and products not only inspire but also spark a curiosity for the style maven behind the site, EIC Julie Carlson. And although we caught a glimpse of her Mill Valley abode in the pages of her book, Refinery29 has revisited the space to bring us Carlson's updated favorites for both fashion and home. In the interview, Carlson names Modern Appealing Clothing as her SF haunt for clothes from Belgian designer Sofie D'Hoore. And near her home, you'll find her shopping at Summer House and Mint. To pick up more of Carlson's shopping tips and to see her personal style reflected in her home, check out the feature here.
