Gustin has taken the concept of crowdsourcing to the next level. Not only did the brand get off the ground via a successful Kicktstarter campaign last year, but they've extended the model to launch individual Kickstarters for each of their products. "With the rise of crowdfunding platforms, we saw an opportunity to reach customers on a more personal level and price-conscious manner," Gustin's co-founder Stephen Powell tells BallerStatus. The premium menswear label that started with only denim has now expanded into eight categories including button-ups, belts, and wallets. But be forewarned: the funded products run their course and aren't available to purchase once the end date has passed.
