Jewelry line Annachich is designed and fabricated here in San Francisco by the brand's founder and designer Becky Johnson. And for the most recent collection, Johnson found inspiration in the city's iconic Phelan building where she once took classes at the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts. When the landlord evicted many of the artists who were tenants in the building and proceeded to destroy much of the Phelan's marble and woodwork in a remodel, Johnson was inspired to create a design that celebrated preservation. The Pair of Hex Cuff ($58) captures a glimpse of Phelan's marble. And better yet, Johnson will donate a portion of proceeds from the cuff's sales to the ASPCA. We love a piece of jewelry that can make you feel like superwoman and a historian at the same time.
