NORTH BAY—Calypso St. Barth (Marin Country Mart, 2229 Larkspur Landing Cir, Larkspur) is hosting a Mother's Day "Generations of Style" shopping event this Friday and Saturday, May 2 and 3, from 10am to 6pm. Stop by to shop the current collection, enjoy refreshments, create a Mother's Day wish list, and receive a gift with purchase (while supplies last). SOMA—On Wednesday, May 14, enjoy a talk about the global world of design, hosted by modern furniture company Ligne Roset (162 King Street, San Francisco). Design writer Sarah White will lead a discussion between Ligne Roset's Executive Vice President, Antoine Roset, and designer Philippe Nigro.
