In the midst of a high fashion renaissance in Union Square, Christian Dior has staked claim to an enviable slice of retail space. The luxury fashion brand has leased 10,000 square feet at 185 Post Street, which was vacated by De Beers earlier this year. But we aren't to get too excited to shop the collections just yet. The interior renovations are expected to take about two years, SF Business Times reports. It's a little surprising given that the the building was overhauled not too long ago in 2008. But we shouldn't expect anything less than perfection from the brand. And its timeless silhouettes can't be labeled as "fast fashion" in every sense of the phrase.
