Carlina Harris understands that San Francisco's constantly-changing temperatures call for plenty of chic jackets, and she has built a healthy fan base documenting her high-low layered looks on her blog, Allergic to Vanilla. If you already follow her, you know that Carlina's knack for pairing the perfect tailored menswear piece with a feminine frock (and her 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli) raises the bar for creative office attire. Name/hood/day job?
"Carlina Harris/Burlingame/Content Manager."
What makes you blog?
"I've always been passionate about personal style, mine can sometimes be a little eclectic so I enjoy documenting it."

Who takes your photos?
"My husband, my coworkers, my blog girlfriends...or anyone who can hold a camera. I like to enlist everyone in my projects!"
Tell us something about yourself we would have never guessed.
"My original passion was flying. I wanted to be a commercial airline pilot. It's what I went to school for. And I'm not really allergic to vanilla."
You're at work, and you get an email inviting you to a fabulous, dressed-up affair. You're wearing ripped jeans and loafers and don't have time to go home and change. What's your strategy?
"I'll most likely already be wearing a blazer, because it's my work go-to. So I'll add a tangerine matte lipstick, and walk into the room like I'm wearing sassy four inch pumps. Confidence is key to feeling fabulous, no matter what you're wearing."

How would you describe your sartorial personality and which Bay Area store best matches it?
"All over the place, I reach for the un-ordinary in terms of colors and prints. Does the SF Bloomies count?"
If you had to sacrifice one, what would it be: lipstick, mascara or brow pencil/gel?
"Mascara."
In five years I hope to be [fill in the blank].
"Happy."
