The Golden Gate Bridge toll increased an entire dollar yesterday, rising from $6 to $7 for the pay-by-plate option and from $5 to $6 for Fastrak. The long-term plan is to hit $8 by 2018—as much as it would cost to pay for shipping from some your favorite Corte Madera stores.
