On Tuesday, Hillary Clinton was in town to deliver the keynote speech to an audience of about 3,500 at a marketing conference at the Moscone Center. The former Secretary of State and First Lady spoke on a range of topics, from Vladimir Putin to the world's fascination with her hair.
Clinton is working on a book about her experiences as Secretary of State, and she joked about some titles that had been suggested, including her favorite: "The Scrunchy Chronicles: 112 Countries And It's Still All About My Hair." Her affinity for the scrunchie has been discussed at length by various media outlets.
Nearly as important a question was whether Clinton will run for president in 2016. "I am flattered and I am honored and I am thinking about it, but I'm going to continue to think about it," she said.
She also wore an interesting cobalt blue top decorated with black, paisley-shaped embroidery. It must be a favorite—it's a repeat from two previous talks she did last week at a USAID event and the 5th Annual Women in the World Summit. She'll be back in San Jose later this week for yet another talk after stops in Oregon and Las Vegas.
