Get Your Work in Front of Steven Alan, Pamela Love, More!

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Racked Young Guns, our annual search for the country's best up-and-coming designers, kicked off last week. That means you've got six days left to enter (or nominate a friend!) It also means that we're hard at work assembling our panel of experts—industry insiders who will help us select our ultimate winners.

Who are these experts? They're people with a history of supporting young designers, like Steven Alan or Jennifer Mankins of Brooklyn tastemaker boutique Bird. Or people with a history of being young designers, like Pamela Love and Jessie Randall of Loeffler Randall. We've got jewelers, like the women behind Lizzie Fortunato. And we've got start-up mavens, like Neil Blumenthal of Warby Parker. They've all agreed to scrutinize look books, examine collections, and ultimately tell us who they think should be featured on the site this summer as the 2014 class of Racked's Young Guns.

Stay tuned for Monday, when we'll announce the full list of panelists. In the meantime, here once again is the link to enter. We're looking for designers under 35, or collections that launched less than two years ago. Nominations close Tuesday, May 20, so get to it! And feel free to email us at youngguns@racked.com with any questions.
