Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Osso & Co., the boutique and grooming salon for pampered pooches and kitties, is closing the doors to its Broderick Street store by the end of July. Hoodline reports that although business is good, the rent will double when the current lease expires and will force the pet store to leave the 1,600-square-foot space behind. This will leave Osso & Co. without a storefront in SF, having already closed its Inner Sunset location a couple years ago. We can only hope the store lands elsewhere in the city (on all four feet) but until then, remember to shop the online store and use promo code Freeship100 for free shipping on orders over $100 (exclusions apply).
