Call it a man bun or a male topknot; love it or hate it, it's happening. And it's happening a lot in San Francisco. 7x7 magazine has documented the trend in a gallery of 23 photos of men sporting hair gathered onto the tops of their heads. Adorable or horrible? You decide.

Guys have taken various approaches to the man bun. Some allow spiky strands to emerge from the knot, while others have so much volume that their 'do is almost approaching Beyonce levels. What's your favorite? We find it impossible to choose, but we have to admit some of these guys look quite fetching.
