Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Luxe bedding boutique In Bed, which is an arm of furniture emporium H.D. Buttercup, has been at the corner of Laguna and Hayes for just two years. But Hoodline tells us the store is moving to Soma to be closer to its parent company, which has a huge showroom at 290 Townsend. We're waiting to find out if In Bed will still be a separate store or find a spot in the Townsend street store. In the meantime, be sure to stop by to take advantage of In Bed's 40% off moving sale. The store is schedule to close on May 25. We'll keep you posted on the new tenant, which is already slated to move in after some earthquake retrofitting.
