Taylor Stitch—the brand that began at the corner of Taylor & Clay Streets in 2008—is opening its second retail location on Chestnut Street. The store will carry the Taylor Stitch men's line, and will be the first brick and mortar retailer to carry its women's line. The Marina shop will also carry a few other products and brands including made-to-order shoes from Rancourt & Co. The new location will also be a source to find and try the brand's weekly Wednesday collections. Each collection is unique, designed in San Francisco, limited in number, and manufactured in California.

When Taylor Stitch wanted to add another retail location to its first on Valencia Street, the brand approached Retail West for consultation. "We helped [Taylor Stitch's founders] target the right areas for their expansion and found them the site," Retail West's Sami Zeger tell us. And founders Michael Maher, Barrett Purdum, and Michael Armenta explain to us that the new location seamlessly fits into Taylor Stitch's objective to "relentlessly focus on fit as well as construction" and to "modernize classic staples that are both rugged and refined." The Marina location will open in June.
