In the three years since Kathleen Murillo launched her blog Inspirafashion, we've watched her go from super long locks to a chic "lob." And we've observed her knack for styling a boho-chic music fest outfit on a Sunday, then creating an office-appropriate look on Monday. It turns out that for this Berkeley resident, diversity is a must. She's calls her style "urban boho chic," and works in finance at Kaiser Permanente, so her sartorial repertoire has got to be wide-ranging. Read on to find out about the secret stash she keeps under her desk, and how blogging has changed her life.

When did you launch Inspirafashion?
"Inspirafashion launched three years ago during one summer when, surprisingly out of boredom and curiosity, I discovered the great world of fashion blogging on Chictopia. I had fun styling outfits, taking photos and created my fashion blog—from there, it was history."
What makes you blog?
"I've always had a passion for art since middle school and naturally gravitated toward fashion. Blogging has been an amazing and exciting creative outlet. The readership and support has changed my life completely. I've met some of my readers and really great friends through blogging and continue to be inspired by all their passion and drive. I'm so happy and grateful for those who partake in my fashion adventures on my blog."
Who takes your photos?
"My blog photographer bestie, Ryan Chua."
Tell us something about yourself we would have never guessed.
"I've been a pescetarian for 7 years now. I would have gone full vegetarian, but I love sushi way too much. You'll only know this fun fact if we eat out together, or if ever you ask me to go to a steakhouse with you."
You're at work, and you get an email inviting you to a fabulous, dressed-up affair. You're wearing ripped jeans and loafers and don't have time to go home and change. What's your strategy?
"Rock what you got! I think to dress up the outfit, I'd try to utilize my makeup—if I have any eyeshadow, I'd do a quick smokey eye and put on red lipstick. Also, I usually keep some of my extra high-heels under the desk (no shame!). I'd switch out those loafers for heels which can instantly make an outfit more dressy and classy."
How would you describe your sartorial personality and which Bay Area store best matches it?
"Urban boho chic. If you mixed clothing from local stores like BellJar, Azalea, and TopShelf together, it'd sum up my style perfectly."
If you had to sacrifice one, what would it be: lipstick, mascara or brow pencil/gel?
"Mascara; I'm a lipstick gal all the way."
In five years I hope to be [fill in the blank].
"...happy and successful in pursuing my dreams and passions. Ultimately, being strong and grateful for whatever triumphs or milestones life has in store for me."
