Takara Design, a jewelry company based in Portland, Oregon, is having two trunk shows in the Bay Area next weekend. Jen Goff, the woman behind Takara, explains that she is "inspired by traditional craft techniques and meditative working processes." Her pieces feature woven elements, crafted from naturally dyed silk cord, as well as hand-hammered metals.
For a chance to met Jen and see her lovely creations in person, stop by Gravel & Gold (3266 21st Street, San Francisco) this Saturday, May 31 from 12 to 7pm, or visit Good Stock (4198 Piedmont Ave, Oakland) this Sunday, June 1st, between 11am and 7pm. —Darcy Boynton
