Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

It's an international infusion in SF's emerging Design District, with Canadian brand EQ3 and Finnish brand Marimekko opening in a shared space at the end of May (Marimekko products will be offered in the EQ3+ curated collection). EQ3 is transforming a 12,000-square-foot warehouse into a showroom for its signature, custom-made modern furniture designs and home furnishings. The flagship space will also feature the EQ3+ line, a handpicked selection of internationally renowned products from iconic brands like Herman Miller and Alessi. There's also room for Marimekko's colorful textiles and clothing designs as a part of EQ3's "shop-in-shop" experience. Doors open on May 31st and stay tuned for word on an official opening event.
