Angela Missoni and Margherita Maccapani Missoni are receiving honorary doctorate degrees from the Academy of Art's School of Fashion. The graduation and awards ceremony is on Thursday, May 8, but the designers (plus family matriarch Rosita Missoni) are en route to SF today, straight from last night's Met Ball festivities, to attend tomorrow's fashion symposium and gala luncheon.
The three women are the backbone of the family's eponymous fashion brand with Angela as the creative director, Margherita as the brand ambassador, and Rosita as the original creator (alongside her husband Ottavio). We'll be at tomorrow's event to bring you the scoop on what the ladies are wearing, and what Italian fashion royalty think of our City by the Bay. So be sure to check back for the inside scoop and the recap of AAU's graduation fashion show.
