The same-day delivery battle is intensifying between Google and Amazon with both companies aggressively expanding into new markets, but neither appears to hold a strong lead. Google may have the support of partner retailers while Amazon may benefit from controlling the entire fulfillment process from start to finish. It's too early to tell which route is the better of the two, but at least it's the consumer that's winning for now. [The Motley Fool]
