Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Back in February we let you know that Cary Lane planned to open a third location, and now it's finally happening. On Saturday, May 10, men's and women's designer outlet Cary Lane is opening up shop at its new location at 1262 9th Avenue between Irving and Lincoln Way.
It's been just a little more than two years since the retailer became a mini-chain when it added a second location in the Mission in the former Candystore Collective space, in addition to its original Hayes Valley location. Hours at the Inner Sunset outpost will be Monday through Saturday, 11am to 7pm, Sundays 12 to 6pm. The new store, like the others, will offer current season's designer samples and past seasons' items at up to 80% off retail. Stay tuned for a grand opening garden party with food, music, and more, in the works for June.
